These are our learning targets for this unit:



I can identify how the Iroquois Confederacy was structured.

I can identify the role and status of women within the Confederacy.

I can explain how the Wampum Belt addresses collective identity.

I can explain how the social structure of the Iroquois Confederacy impacted

   its political structure.

I can explain the extent to which the decision-making process within the Iroquois confederacy reflects democratic ideals of equity and fairness.

I can explain how the 6 Nations used the consensus building process.

I can identify the advnatages and disadvantages of consensus as a decision making model for government.
